With 'e-transactions', payment over the internet is secure thanks to authentication of the merchant, confidentiality and checking of bank data.
Before each payment, 'e-transactions' authenticates the merchant’s site via a certificate provided by the bank called 'Credit Agricole'.
During the course of the various exchanges, data is encrypted using the SSL protocol. These symbols (a key or a padlock) show that the transaction is secure. Your card number remains confidential.
In addition, the payment server checks bank details against the central bank card network. In this way, stolen or cancelled cards are detected immediately.
